Situated at the top of the feature staircase, the Peter Rigby Gallery greets visitors to the second level. Featuring a small selection of large-scale modern and contemporary works from the permanent collection, it provides a crossroads leading to multiple galleries, including the Jason D. Kogan Special Exhibitions Gallery, the postwar and global contemporary galleries, and the Kahren Jones Arbitman and Michael Arbitman Ceramics Gallery. This highly trafficked landing space can also serve as an introduction to exhibitions in the Jason D. Kogan Gallery.
